LA -- Days 2 and 3

Friday was beach day. I was afraid that I'd get sand in my camera, so I left it at the house! The water was 68, but the wind felt even cooler. Connor and Greg braved the water while I read my book. Finally, I adapted to the temperature and joined them for frolicking in the waves. It was fun!

Saturday we all headed to the San Diego Zoo. (We = Joei, Les and the 3 of us.) The zoo is huge. Thankfully, Joei and Les are veteran members, so they knew just where to go and how to avoid the crowds. Connor loved the komodo dragon and the gila monster. I liked the panda bears, the gorillas, and the cats.
