Everyone should have a "Jenny" in her life. My Jenny happens to live down the street -- that's a good thing.
She's just about my only spontaneous friend, which is quite a feat when you have 2 kids under the age of 3 like she does. Last week while strolling down her street, I called on a lark to chat. She was out the door in less than 5 minutes to join us for a walk around the neighborhood.
I have about 3 people in my life who will give me their blunt-level honest opinion on things when I'm torn. She's one of those people. And she can listen, ponder, and articulate her thoughts effortlessly.
When I don't need an opinion and just need to vent, she's there, too. She can keep a secret better than anyone I know. She's even kept a few from me, when asked to do so. Now that's trustworthiness!
Jenny also has the most impressive collection of power tools, rivaling that of my own father. She even knows how to use those power tools. Case in point -- the pictures below. Jenny and I put up the back splash in the kitchen last night. I love how it turned out! We still have to grout and seal, but you get the idea.
Thank you, Jenny! Let me know if you need another piece of pizza!
