Christmas Eve
We had a fun time at Mama and Papa Dean's on Christmas Eve. Everyone contributed to the family liturgy, and as Joei reminded us, even though Papa may not have understood what we were doing, he has a Holy Spirit inside of him that knew exactly what was happening.
Connor initiated a new family tradition . . . a footrace around the house. He wore a special racing uniform and rounded up several family members to participate. He won, surprise, surprise.
I started a new tradition, too -- baking a Cream Caramel Cake w/ Irish Cream frosting. It's my "signature Christmas dessert," and it also doubles as Jesus' birthday cake. Connor snapped me while I frosted the cake.
Cookies and milk for Santa. (Red cheeks from racing in the cold!)
