Things are hoppin' around here. Connor is out of school and home with Camden and me everyday. We have our own "school" every morning. We're working on letters, sounds, colors, science, history, religion, you name it. Last week Connor asked me to explain why we have high tide and low tide. Thank you, Wikipedia!! For Christmas he was given a subscription to the National Wildlife Federation's magazine for kids. It's been fun to incorporate the magazine activities into our "school." Last week we read about the rain forest and one suggestion was making an orangutan sandwich out of hummus. He actually ate the whole thing!
Camden is growing and growing. He finally learned how to roll over, but he still prefers to screech until someone picks him up. He's the most giggly kid ever, and he is enjoying solid foods. He's on the same diet as Connor followed at that age-- mostly orange-colored stuff with prunes thrown in to keep things moving! He can say, "ma-ma-ma-ma" when distressed and he says, "da-da-da-da-da" when he's feeling playful and happy.
