Camden update

It's been a challenge finding time to sit at the computer or even take pictures of the boys. But, alas, here are a few pics as well as an update on Camden.

At his 2-week well visit, he had gained almost a pound and a half. The doctor couldn't believe it. Guess the breastfeeding is going well.

Camden is a relatively easy baby. His only problem is pooping. He cries and flinches and thrashes about -- all for about 1/2 tablespoon of what resembles South Carolina bar-be-que. I lamented this to Dr. H who also observed his discomfort yesterday and decided to do a rectal exam just to make sure there wasn't "blockage." I'm happy to report that there is no blockage. I must also report that Camden simply has a "tight rectum." In other words, he's a tight-ass. Literally. She assured me it would loosen up, but in the meantime we have to endure his daily fits of rage and frustration. I suppose it could be worse!

Connor also accompanied me to the doctor, and on a lark, I asked Dr. H to look at his ear. (He woke up complaining about it.) He has an ear infection, but has been such a trooper. I guess I've been so preoccupied with Camden, I hadn't noticed that Connor wasn't feeling well. In spite of his infection, he's been a great big brother and is such a helper. His special name for Camden is "our little biscuit bundle." (Glad we've got his other name -- Skipper Bobo -- behind us!)
